New regulations for the textile industry take effect in 2026
The "Specification for Digital Collection and Color Measurement of Textiles" was officially implemented in 2026, marking the entry of the textile industry's color management into a precise quantification phase centered around CIEDE2000 (ΔE00). This specification explicitly requires the use of a d/8 diffuse integrating sphere for measurement geometry, a D65/10° observer as the light source, and a Type A device with a repeatability better than ΔE00 < 0.05, with inter-machine variation controlled at ≤0.2 (ΔE00). It also prioritizes the use of the ΔE00 color difference formula for evaluation, aiming to comprehensively enhance the level of color consistency across factories and supply chains.
The Haopu Jia colorimeter directly responds to the technical framework of this specification in product design. Its spectral measurement range covers 360–780nm, and it features UV fluorescence compensation, allowing for accurate identification of the true color of textiles containing fluorescent whitening agents. The built-in algorithm fully supports CIEDE2000 color difference calculation, ensuring that the output results are fully consistent with the specification requirements. The device's repeatability is stable at ΔE00 ≤ 0.01, and the inter-device variation is controlled within 0.08, significantly exceeding the performance threshold for Class A equipment specified in the specification, providing a highly reliable data foundation for laboratories and production lines.

The instrument adopts a standardized d/8 geometry and a D65 light source system, which meets the mandatory requirements of measurement conditions specified in the specifications without additional calibration. Its full-band LED light source and self-developed differential spectrum engine ensure spectral stability during long-term use and avoid system deviations caused by device aging. The accompanying software supports the NetProf network calibration function, which allows for regular synchronization of calibration benchmarks, enabling seamless data alignment between multiple devices and meeting the management needs of the textile industry for a unified color language.
The HaopuJia colorimeter does not rely on special configurations or additional modules. Its core performance parameters directly correspond to the technical provisions of the "Specification for Digital Acquisition and Color Measurement of Textiles", allowing it to be incorporated into the compliance testing process without additional verification. It provides stable and traceable equipment support for textile enterprises to achieve digital color management.
